Brief Intro to Japanese Stationeries
Almost all stationeries that were made in Japan were brought from western countries like France, Germany, the U. S., ... etc. But soon after the Japanese businessmen brought in stationery products from other countries, they began to investigate how can they make it, and so, Japanese stationery companies and factories were born! When the Japanese businessmen found out how to make that product, they often began to produce it to the Japanese market at their factory. Often, they invented new type of a type of products, like ball-point pens. For example, Mitsubishi Pencil once sold the thinnest ball-point pen in history, the Uni-ball Signo Bit, in 2005. (Now, the Bit series has been terminated.) Also, Max Co. Ltd. has invented the first stapler which uses paper-made staples, in 2013. The only stationery that Japanese people invented is the correction tape, and it sold throughout the world. (The correction tape was invented by an Osaka-based company Seed in 1989.)
